Why Fear & Trembling?
Why did you name your podcast “fear and trembling”?
The name comes from Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi, he wrote many years ago: continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose (2:13).
Here is why we chose it.
Listen in and join us as we wrestle with what it means to found in, formed by, and faithfully follow Christ.

Here is why we chose it.
- Paul writes continue to work out your salvation and in so doing instructs us to work out what God has already accomplished through the death and resurrection of Christ - to work out the implications of one’s salvation in Christ.
- We are to work out the implications of our salvation with fear, a reverent awe of God, and trembling, in a soul gripping sort of way.
